Ahmad Makhzoum

Raised in Windsor, Ontario, Ahmad completed his Bachelor of Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor before earning his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
Ahmad is passionate about helping people recover from musculoskeletal injuries, improve their movement, and return to the activities that matter most to them. His clinical interests include back and neck pain, joint injuries, persistent pain, and exercise-based rehabilitation. He takes a patient-centered approach to care, focusing on understanding each person’s goals and developing individualized treatment plans that support long-term recovery and confidence with movement.
Outside of the clinic, Ahmad enjoys staying active and has participated in sports throughout his life, including football, basketball, and more recently, pickleball. His appreciation for an active lifestyle helps him understand the challenges people face when pain or injury prevents them from doing the things they enjoy.

Amanda Gemmell

Amanda Gemmell is a Registered Pelvic Health and Orthopedic Physiotherapist who grew up in Essex County playing competitive sports. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Faulkner University in Alabama in 2015 while playing Varsity Women’s Soccer on a soccer scholarship. After completing her undergraduate degree, Amanda moved back to Canada and earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in 2017. She continues to play soccer, loves riding horses, painting, weight lifting, running, and training her amazing dog Meeko.
Amanda treats both pelvic health and orthopedic conditions. She has taken numerous postgraduate pelvic health courses and is currently a teaching assistant for the international pelvic health course “The Female Athlete - Level 1” with Antony Lo. The Female Athlete – Level 1 is approved by CrossFit for 20 CEU’s.
Her mission is to find the root cause of your complaint, teach you everything she knows about your case, and ultimately teach you how to treat yourself. Amanda takes an evidence-based approach to her practice and will work with you to reach your goals.

Courtney Hlady

Courtney Hlady is a registered physiotherapist with a rich background in competitive dance. She pursued her passion for human movement by earning both her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto.
During her academic journey, Courtney gained valuable experience working with various varsity sports teams including hockey, football, track & field, and more, at the University of Toronto. Since graduating, she has completed her Level 1 certification in manipulative therapy, Level 1 in pelvic floor physical therapy, and has undertaken several courses to provide her with specialized training focused on treating dancers and other artistic athletes.
Courtney’s unique combination of dance experience and strength and conditioning allow her to offer a distinctive approach to rehabilitating artistic athletes. She is committed to utilizing the latest evidence-based practices to optimize recovery and prevent future injuries by enhancing movement patterns. Courtney’s approach combines manual therapy and exercise to allow for lasting change!
Outside of the clinic, Courtney enjoys walking her dog, reading a good book, or staying active at the gym.
Jason Chung
Sport Physiotherapist - Clinic Owner
Orthopaedic or Sport Physiotherapy
Jason is a Sport Physiotherapist who originally grew up in the Greater Toronto Area and moved to Windsor-Essex a few years ago. Jason earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in 2017 and recently completed a Sport and Exercise Medicine Master’s Program at Western University. Jason also obtained his acupuncture certification through completing the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program in 2017. He has also earned his Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy 2023. Jason has had the opportunity to work with a number of sports teams, including being a part of the medical staff for the Essex Ravens during their 2023 season and the Sport Physiotherapist and team trainer for the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL.
With a background as a strength and conditioning coach, he integrates those principles throughout the rehab process. Jason utilizes an evidence-based approach to optimize rehab and performance outcomes to ultimately help patients achieve their goals.
When not on the sidelines or in the clinic, Jason enjoys kicking back with a good cup of coffee and a book, working out, and playing any and all sports.
Dr. Aden Cockburn
Chiropractor
Aden completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Waterloo in 2021 before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from D’Youville University in 2025. During his clinical training, he completed additional training at Cleveland Clinic, where he gained valuable experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment and further developed his evidence-based approach to patient care.
Growing up, Aden was actively involved in competitive sports, including hockey and basketball, which sparked his passion for movement, performance, and injury rehabilitation. His athletic background, combined with his clinical training, allows him to understand the physical demands placed on the body and helps him guide patients toward achieving their individual health, fitness, and recovery goals.
Aden provides dedicated one-on-one care during every session. His treatment combines hands-on manual therapy with personalized exercise and rehabilitation programs to help patients reduce pain, improve function, and build long-term resilience.
Outside of the clinic, Aden enjoys golfing, hiking, travelling, and staying active through recreational sports.
Caitlin Henderson

Meet Caitlin, the friendly face behind our front desk and the person who helps keep the clinic running like clockwork. In 2026, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Studies. As our Clinic Administrator, she manages scheduling, patient communications, billing, and the countless details that ensure every visit goes smoothly.
Known for her positive attitude, quick problem-solving, and ability to stay on top of everything, Caitlin is dedicated to making each patient's experience easy and welcoming. Whether you're booking your first appointment, have questions about your care, or need help navigating insurance and billing, she's always happy to help.
Outside of her studies and work, Caitlin is a competitive Irish dancer and coach! In her downtime, she loves to run and relax.
