Amanda Gemmell is a Registered Pelvic Health and Orthopedic Physiotherapist who grew up in Essex County playing competitive sports. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Faulkner University in Alabama in 2015 while playing Varsity Women’s Soccer on a soccer scholarship. After completing her undergraduate degree, Amanda moved back to Canada and earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in 2017. She continues to play soccer, loves riding horses, weight lifting, running, and training her amazing dog Meeko.

Amanda treats both pelvic health and orthopedic conditions. She has taken numerous postgraduate pelvic health courses and is currently a teaching assistant for an international pelvic health course called “The Female Athlete” with Antony Lo. Her mission is to find the root cause of your complaint, teach you everything she knows about your case, and ultimately teach you how to treat yourself. Amanda takes an evidence-based approach to her practice and will work with you to reach your goals.

Jason is a Sport Physiotherapist who originally grew up in the Greater Toronto Area and moved to Windsor-Essex a few years ago. Jason earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in 2017 and recently completed a Sport and Exercise Medicine Master’s Program at Western University. Jason also obtained his acupuncture certification through completing the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program in 2017. He has also earned his Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy. He has had the opportunity to work with a number of sports teams including being a part of the medical staff for the Essex Ravens during their 2023 season. Jason currently serves as the Sport Physiotherapist and team trainer for the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL.

With a background as a strength and conditioning coach, he integrates those principles throughout the rehab process. Jason utilizes an evidence-based approach to optimize rehab and performance outcomes to ultimately help patients achieve their goals.

When not on the sidelines or in the clinic, Jason enjoys kicking back with a good cup of coffee and a book, working out, and playing any and all sports.

Caitlin Henderson

Caitlin is a 4th year student at the University of Windsor, on track to graduate with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Studies. Throughout her degree, she has completed three Co-op placements with the goal of developing workplace skills and finding her niche. She is currently volunteering with the Strength and Conditioning Program at the university; working closely with varsity athletes during their lifting and conditioning sessions.
Outside of her studies and work, Caitlin is a competitive Irish dancer and coach! In her downtime, she loves to run and relax.
