Courtney Hlady is a resident physiotherapist with a rich background in competitive dance. She pursued her passion for human movement by earning both her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto.
During her academic journey, Courtney gained valuable experience working with various varsity sports teams including hockey, football, track & field, and more, at the University of Toronto. Since graduating, she has completed her Level 1 certification in manipulative therapy, Level 1 in pelvic floor physical therapy, and has undertaken several courses to provide her with specialized training focused on treating dancers and other artistic athletes.
Courtney’s unique combination of dance experience and strength and conditioning allow her to offer a distinctive approach to rehabilitating artistic athletes. She is committed to utilizing the latest evidence-based practices to optimize recovery and prevent future injuries by enhancing movement patterns. Courtney’s approach combines manual therapy and exercise to allow for lasting change!
Outside of the clinic, Courtney enjoys walking her dog, reading a good book, or staying active at the gym.
